THE DINNER

I am pleased to announce that The Aléatoire will be hosting its first community dinner at Chez Globe in Bethnal Green, London. The whole point of this online space is to bring people together, and as my pal Sam Blanco proposed brilliantly, what better way to do that than a dinner?

"The Dinner" goes back to my tradition of Jazz and Wine nights at the BIG house in Berkeley, California, where strangers meet and mingle, guests indulge in homemade vegan delights, and music is mixed from far and wide. These nights have brought many unlikely friends together, tremendous cooking disasters as well as successes, and tonnes of actually unbelievable stories. Genuinely wonderful times.

Though I'm not in Berkeley, and though it may not be the same, it only seems fitting to bring a little piece of home over a whole continent and across The Pond, especially in the beginnings of a project I hold so close to my heart.
