Colophon is an international, award-winning type foundry based in London (UK) [1] and Los Angeles (US) [2]. We create, publish, and distribute [3] high-quality retail and custom typefaces for analog and digital media. Since 2009, Colophon has tasked itself with producing fonts that are composed with aesthetic and technological care, prompting a reputable library of new classics that couple typographic history with contemporary sensibilities.

VTF has been created in 2010 by Frank Adebiaye as a logic continuation as his blog about typography and type design. If he began alone, he quickly invited Jérémy Landes-Nones and Sébastien Hayez to join him in the adventure. Nowadays, Velvetyne is a growing collective run by the three first members plus Raphaël Bastide, Martin Desinde, Julien Imbert, Lucas Le Bihan, Anton Moglia, Hypsoline and Jean-Baptiste Morizot.
We are a type design company known for our innovative views, creative approach and the high quality of our typefaces. We create and distribute typefaces, based in Vevey, Switzerland on the shores of the Swiss Riviera. We gained international success using our unique design skills and particular aesthetic.
